Karachi Announces Double-Decker Bus Fares
The Sindh government has finalized fares for the newly launched double-decker bus service in Karachi, aiming to provide affordable and modern public transport to city commuters.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the double-decker buses will operate on a 22-kilometre route, with fares ranging between Rs. 80 and Rs. 120, depending on the distance travelled.
Initially, the service will run from Malir to Shahrah-e-Faisal, with plans to expand operations to additional routes across Karachi in the coming months. Officials said the government is offering subsidies on bus fares to keep the service accessible for the public.
