Pakistan Railways Completes Upgrade of Another Passenger Train
Pakistan Railways has completed the upgrade of another passenger train on the Lahore–Narowal route, continuing its efforts to improve service quality, passenger comfort, and operational efficiency across its network.
The upgraded train was formally inaugurated with a simple ceremony, during which officials offered prayers for the progress of Pakistan Railways and decorated the train with garlands. Senior railway officials, including the Divisional Superintendent, inspected the coaches and interacted with passengers to gather feedback on cleanliness, seating, and onboard facilities.
The Narowal Passenger Train departs Lahore Railway Station at 7:15 am and reaches Narowal at 10:05 am, covering the journey in approximately two hours and 40 minutes. The train stops at Badami Bagh, Shahdara Bagh, Kala Khatai, Narang, Baddomalhi, Raya Khas, and Pejowali along the route.

On its return journey, the train leaves Narowal at 5:00 pm and arrives back in Lahore at 7:40 pm, stopping at the same stations. Officials stated that the upgrade aims to provide a more reliable and comfortable travel experience for daily commuters.
Pakistan Railways continues to roll out similar upgrades across various routes as part of its broader strategy to modernize passenger services and strengthen regional connectivity.
