KP Announces Auction of 40 More Personalized Vehicle Numbers
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced the auction of 40 additional personalized vehicle registration numbers, offering citizens a chance to obtain exclusive and customized number plates reflecting surnames, regions, and identities.
According to officials, the auction will be held on February 14 at the Qayoom Sports Complex in Peshawar. The initiative is part of the government’s efforts to respond to increasing public interest in personalized vehicle registration numbers while also generating additional revenue for the province.
Several popular surnames and regional identifiers will be available during the auction, including Dawar, Hoti, Shinwari, Waziristan, Mahsud, Jadoon, Marwat, Khattak, Qadri, Pashtun, Sheikh, Khyber, Raja, and Awan. These personalized numbers have historically attracted strong interest and competitive bidding.
Officials shared that the full list of available numbers includes Qadri (1), Bher (100), Jadoon (1), Syed (1), Mahmood (1), Dawar (1), Dera Jat (1), Mehmad (1), Waziristan (9), Kalachi (1), Khank (1), Bachoar (1), Marwat (1), Orkazi (1), Hoti (1), Khanpur (10), Gujjar (1), Mardan (1), Awan (1), Khyber (1), Raja (1), Abbottabad (1), Kohat (1), Chagharzi (1), Mansar (10), Sethi (1), Taj (1), Huminwari (1), Sial (1), Pashtun (1), Jatoi (1), Hoti (7), Swat (1), Max (1), Hazara (1), and Khalil (1).

The KP Excise and Taxation Department stated that the auction is designed to ensure transparency and fair competition while meeting public demand for customized registration numbers. Interested participants have been advised to register in advance and strictly follow the department’s bidding guidelines.
Authorities believe the initiative will not only enhance public engagement but also contribute to provincial revenue, which can be utilized for improving transport and administrative services across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
